Located in historic downtown Pearland, the Alvin Community
College – Continuing Education/Workforce Development Center in Pearland is a safe and quiet place to take a variety of types of courses. The
campus opened in 1998 and is a great resource for Pearland residents.
The Continuing Education/Workforce Development Center department offers workforce training courses such
as Pharmacy Tech., Real Estate, Insurance Exam Prep, Teller Training, CNA, Phlebotomy and GED which can help you get
a job; to Information Technology, Insurance CEU Updates and Real Estate TREC Updates ,
which can help improve your skills on your current job, or special interest
classes that are just plain enjoyable.
Another area of opportunity offered at the Continuing
Education/Workforce Development Center is
highly specialized training to meet the needs of area businesses.
In 2004 we partnered with the University of Houston – Clear
Lake to better serve the educational needs in the area, Upper-level and graduate
classes in accounting, criminology, statistics, management, psychology, sociology,
writing, and counseling are all available at the Pearland location. Additional
classes and programs are being planned for the future.

permit for the Pearland Center.
